I’m a fruit fan and I love how fruit is so versatile. Cooked, fresh, baked, still delicious. I like using vegetables and fruit of the season, so I figured to make glazed pear. Sounds fancy but it’s so easy. This dish is perfect as a healthy snack or dessert, especially now that it’s getting cold outside. Warm up your stomach with this deliciousness! You need:
one pear – sukrin gold (or brown sugar) – chopped almonds – cinnamon – butter (optional)
Preheat oven on 200 degrees celsius. Cut the pear in half and place in an oven proof dish. Sprinkle sukrin/brown sugar and chopped almonds over the pear. Add a dash of butter on top. Place in oven and let bake for about 25 minutes. You want them to be soft and juicy.
